I am very privileged to hold a position within the UK tuning industry that allows me to observe the latest trends and also have access to some of the hottest parts available in this fair land of ours…
I’m not into the cheapo budget parts that seem to make their way onto almost all ‘modified’ cars around here. I have no problem with spending a smaller amount of money than is possible as long as the product does its job and isn’t there just for the sake of it.
Also if you have one of these ridiculous ‘tuned’ cars that serves no purpose other than to ‘look good’ with its 20″ wheels and flip paint polishing the shiny turd that is a ( usually perfectly awesome) EP3 civic type R weighed down with 3 tonnes of bodywork that looks as though a 2 year old has mashed a tub of play-dough over his favourite matchbox car…
If your own car doesn’t have a purpose then you need to figure one out… and there is nothing wrong with having a daily driver project – as long as you keep it fit for purpose!
