As expected the new Rota Spec R DC2 98 Spec replica wheel is selling fast! Its a gorgeous wheel that I now have better photos to share with you lovely people! Available in 4×100, 4×114.3 and 5×114.3 direct fit… Why wouldn’t you fit these? They are gorgeous!

These wheels are being made by Rota and they look exactly like the orginals, but yet are around 1.5kg lighter (These weigh 6.45Kg) than OEM yet still come JIL/VIA tested with a full manufacturer warranty.

Available in (Actual) Honda Championship white and Steelgrey (which is the same as the Anthracite OEM colour (or thereabouts).

The main difference for these? I Just bought ALL of the 4×100 stock! Thats right I said 4×100 so no more costly 5 stud conversion required!

They come with a flat Rota centre cap but can be machined to accept the OEM cap.

Price for wheels only is £480 delivered in either colour and they will be in stock in 4-5 weeks time.

Basically it is a bit of a long story but…

Random moment for me… These photos were taken for me!
I used to work for a an online retailer of aftermarket parts here in the Uk and those photos were sent to me by a customer from Poland when his wheels arrived as he had wanted to sort his own courier out and it had taken him a while! I asked him to send me some photos when they were on his car but since he had been waiting around 6 weeks and was so happy with them when they finally arrived he went above and beyond! Was my favourite customer purely because he was funny as hell!
Never thought that these photos would do the rounds on the net! The guys name was Maciej (or Magic as he came to be known!)
The wheels ended up going on an EG Civic and that guy was a legend!

Rota Wheels used by awesome drift S2000!

One thing that anyone with half a brain knows is that true drifters love Rota Wheels because they are comparitively cheap and yet as strong as (and often stronger) than more expensive wheels.

Rota wheels are used by many of Europe and America’s top drifters, as you can see by this awesome S2000 with a turbo conversion and some seriously expensice tuning work carried out… He is rocking Rota Wheels! Rota Torque Drift wheels to be precise!

Big changes for me…

I thought that I would let you guys know that I am no longer working for POTN.com or running rotashop. I want to be in control of things and with recent changes there that was never going to happen.

After thinking about it for a while I have decided to go solo – trading as Tweakculture (the name of my blog) for the time being.

Basically I will still be selling Rota wheels with nothing different to before apart from payment details and the offers I can offer.

Over the next few weeks I will be building up my new site and putting things in place to make ordering easier but for now if you want any Rota wheels or tyres please leave me a comment on here or PM me on any of the forums that I’m active on.

I love being able to sponsor a car.

To me, I love discovering a project thats genuinely unique – something that runs against the grain of what the scene is doing right now. Lately I have been asked by so many people to ‘sponsor’ their cars, yet the cars they are asking me to sponsor are nothing special. Or worse still, are not even started yet!

Why would I sponsor a car that isnt even finished? Or thats being built in a style that seems as though its being built in a time machine!?

Before you ask, ask yourself… do you deserve sponsorship? Are you building something original? Is the car you are building in a style that people actually want to see (although 99% people believe their car is fresh)?

I agreed to sponsor two cars this week, so its not like I am against it – but any arrogance, or lack of awareness in the scene will just see you turned down right now!

This week we launched our 1st ever European sales website – RotaEuro.com. This marks a huge step forward for us as we are able to offer a sales experience to French customers that will be better than anything they have ever experienced before. After researching the French market it seems that they suffer somewhat from being offered shit products at silly prices. So being able to offer Rota Wheels at a price thats more than reasonable seems like a nice thing to do!
