Update – Where have we been!?

Ok, so things have changed a lot since TweakCulture was last updated!!
In December 2010 I decided to close the TweakCulture shop, for numerous reasons I wont go into… but suffice to say they involved some heft card fraud!
So what am I up to these days? Well as of March I have been Sales Manager for Driftworks.com where we sell almost everything that I sold from TC, so if you are looking to buy Rota Wheels, Monotube Coilovers or any other cool aftermarket parts take a look at the website.

I’ll be getting back into the swing of regular blog updates as time allows but I’m currently doing a lot of freelance web optimisation work as well so havent been to as many shows or events as I’d like!

Thanks to all those who have continued to read this blog on a regular basis over the years – this is far from the end for TweakCulture!

PS: I got rid of the .com domain so ignore the links in posts – I’ll remove those as soon as I get a chance!

Ok… so I am posting this on Thursday morning – my mistake! This weeks wallpaper offerings come from JTS earlier this summer, which saw round 3 of this years EDC running along with Time Attack.

After looking back over the photos I have taken this year, Ross (Site on CL) requested this as wallpaper earlier this week so I figured I should offer it to everyone else. This car makes me want an FC RX7 badly!

Since the 1^st post at the end of August 2008, this blog has grown steadily each month with more views and more links coming in from all over the world. The aim of this blog initially was to document and share some basic thoughts on the UK modified car scene, specifically the Japanese car world. Now that the 1^st year has been and gone Tweakculture has evolved with many meets and events being photographed along with write ups of popular events but I feel now is the time to open TweakCulture up to its readers. Any writers, photographers, or anyone with anything to contribute, listen up and take note – this is a great opportunity to gain exposure to thousands of readers!

If you would like to write an article, express an opinion, share your photographs or just get involved please email sales@tweakculture.com. If you are from another blog and would like to let us know of any posts/photos etc then please get in contact as well.

I have a new set of wheels for my EM1 Civic coming tomorrow!  I love getting new wheels, but even more so when my current ones need a refurb! 16″ Rota Spec Rs with T1Rs… Good choice?  What do you think?

As expected the new Rota Spec R DC2 98 Spec replica wheel is selling fast! Its a gorgeous wheel that I now have better photos to share with you lovely people! Available in 4×100, 4×114.3 and 5×114.3 direct fit… Why wouldn’t you fit these? They are gorgeous!

Sorry its a bit late in the day everyone, but today has been the busiest day ever for me! Business is BOOMING!

This weeks wallpaper was taken on Sunday at Santa Pod, Northamptonshire during the HKS Drag Series. These photos feature Johnny McKeon’s R32 Skyline (Tuned by RK Tuning) during one of the later runs in the day.

As mentioned before, I have bought all the stock on the 4×100 version of the Rota Spec R… but they came into stock today and look amazing in the flesh! These can be bought here – Rota Spec R 98 Spec DC2 Replica wheels

Perfect fitment on Civics, with DIRECT fit centre bores and perfect OEM offset (+45)

These wheels are being made by Rota and they look exactly like the orginals, but yet are around 1.5kg lighter (These weigh 6.45Kg) than OEM yet still come JIL/VIA tested with a full manufacturer warranty.

Available in (Actual) Honda Championship white and Steelgrey (which is the same as the Anthracite OEM colour (or thereabouts).

The main difference for these? I Just bought ALL of the 4×100 stock! Thats right I said 4×100 so no more costly 5 stud conversion required!

They come with a flat Rota centre cap but can be machined to accept the OEM cap.
