Yet another outstanding Flickr find

South Mimms new years meet was great! (But cold!)

So Sunday 4th January was the 1st big meet of 2009 with over 70 cars showing up for a great turn out despite the cold weather.

This is now turning into a great regular meet that I hope continues for a long time (it wont if people leave as much rubbish in the car park as they did last time).

Just a couple of nice snaps of my car (taken by Struggle – thanks man!)

My Xmas present to me!

Ok, so at this time of year its meant to all about giving gifts to others – which is nice… But you know whats nicer? Buying something you really wanted for yourself!

I picked up a Nikon D40 DSLR camera today, which admittedly isn’t the top of the range model but as its my 1st DSLR I think its a storming purchase!

I plan to get a nice 300mm lens and get some motor sport action in this year!

Cant wait for Xmas and the Civiclife South Mimms meet to get some practice in!
